• High-Viscosity Fluid Handling: Capable of efficiently transferring a wide range of viscous fluids, such as pastes, sludges, slurries, flocculants, and other high-viscosity, high-solid-content fluids.
• No Contamination: The fluid only comes into contact with the inner wall of the hose. Food-grade hose materials meeting sanitary standards (e.g., FDA certified) are available, making it an ideal choice for the beverage, pharmaceutical, and food industries.
• Self-Priming Capability: Can start without priming the pump, with self-priming typically up to 9 meters vertically.
• Low Shear: The fluid is pushed in a relatively stable manner within the hose pump, subjecting it to low shear. This makes it very suitable for fluids containing fragile solid particles and other sensitive particles, avoiding damage to their physical form.
• Good Metering and Adjustment: The flow rate has a linear relationship with the rotational speed, allowing for precise flow control by adjusting the speed (typically with a variable frequency drive).
• Simple and Low-Cost Maintenance: The only wearing part is the hose. Replacing the hose is convenient, and maintenance downtime is extremely short.
